How To Make A Roasted Chickpeas Recipe
Hi everyone I hope you guys are having an awesome day today
I have a really quick and easy recipe for my healthy tip Tuesday serious that I
have here on my Blog and today I'm going to show you guys how to make some
really easy group to feed croutons easy to make person a apparently I love them
because the fact that they are also not only gluten free but high in protein so
they're a great snack that came to be full and you kind of just have a handful
of them or something you're just watching TV you want to snack on them they're
a really good treat for that as well alright.
So I'm going to get right into the recipe and show you guys how to make these now if you're using canned chickpeas you want to make sure that you drain out all the water that it comes with and rinse it really well just our tap water is fine so I just like to give it a good rinse like I said this is for canned chickpeas if you are making your own chickpeas and boiling them then you could totally skip this step next you're going to pour out your chickpeas on a cookie sheet lined with either a clean dish towel or some paper towel like I do here I normally do it with a dish towel I just didn't have any clean ones on hand next you'll want to take another dish towel or another paper towel and gently pat dry on the other side of the chickpeas and this is just to kind of help speed up the drying process um after you've pathum dry you can just let them sit for about 20 minutes or so just until they dry okay.
So let's get into the rest of the gradients you're going to need so of course now you have your chickpeas all ready to go for this recipe here they are a nice and dry and then we'll leave your spices music garlic and some cayenne pepper I'm using sea salt pepper regular pepper and then you'll need some coconut oil or your favorite oil you can also get the full recipe and ingredients over on my blog health net nutrition dossier so I'm going to pour on the melted coconut oil and just gently stir that around you want to be gentle to chickpeas so that they don't peel and get all mushy next you can go ahead and top them with your spices they're gonna be all coated with the coconut oil.
So the spices are gonna sit really stick really well to the chickpeas next I'm adding my pink salt and black pepper and then I'm just going to give that a light stir once that's done you can go ahead and transfer your coated seasoned chickpeas over onto the same baking sheet that used before but this time with a parchment paper underneath and just so it doesn't stick to the cooking pan itself and then you're just going to want to pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees and I cook mine for about 40 to 45 minutes depending on how your oven is and these are just some roasting in the oven getting all nice and crispy so once that done is done you can go ahead and take them out also one thing is that I take them out in half way through and just mix them around a little bit and yeah so that will be on my blog those directions and then once they're cool you can go ahead and transfer them to a bowl these are great as just a little appetizer if people are coming over to snack on or you can do what I did and I just topped them onto my salad this is just a regular kale and cucumber kind of garden salad and they're just perfect too like I said throw in a salad heat as a trail mix whatever you like you can store them in a mason jar for when you're ready to eat them and they're just an amazing go-to snack I love having these on I hope you guys enjoyed this really quick recipe .
