How To Make A Banana Ice-cream Bites

Hi everyone, I hope girls having a fabulous day I'm today I'm gonna be sharing with you guys and dessert that you can give to somebody special even if that is you there's nothing wrong with that I've definitely enjoyed a few of these treats myself in the making process and just before I get into this recipe I just want to start by saying I'm filming on the floor because I totally broke my foot on Friday so yes that's that's my exciting news to tell you guys I'm gonna be wearing this cast for a few weeks at least it is cold right now in Canada so it's not like I'm missing too much outside but it's the first time I've ever broken anything so it's just a little bit weird for me to be wearing a cast so I may be filming on the floor so if you guys have ever broken anything let me know in the comment section below I'm trying to figure out some like exercises I can do with the broken foot maybe like some ABS I don't I've tried to see if I can do squats with my my boot my mom likes to call it a lunar boot I think it looks like a ski boot or something so I'm supporting the Canadian Olympics it with my ski boot so this is what I'm going to be making for you guys today they are banana ice cream fights super easy and fun to make and they are dairy free which is amazing because a lot of those ice cream alternatives like almond ice cream and coconut milk ice cream could be a little bit pricey so these are definitely budget-friendly if you can't have dairies so if you guys are interested in finding out how to make these banana ice cream it's just keep watching and we'll get right into it .

You're going to need some raw almonds some coconut oil almond butter or peanut butter two bananas and some dark chocolate I'm using this one by greens blacks it's really delicious so I'm just gonna take my banana peel it up and we're going to chop it up now I'm going to make sure I chopped it up in about like one-inch banana pieces that way your banana a nice device will be a good size for dipping otherwise they Cana and make it harder to dip it to the chocolate so here I'm just going to be placing them on a sheet of cookie sheet lined with parchment paper it just makes it easier so they don't stick when you freeze them and right now I'm just gonna pop them in the freezer for about 15 minutes just to harden up a little bit now I'm just taking my almond butter and we're just going to mix it up first a little bit - guys I find almond butter can sometimes separate so I'm just giving it a little spoon a little spoon a little stir with my butter mix here.

I'm just to mix it up before spread it and now you're just going to take I would say about a teaspoon amount for each little banana piece and you're just gonna spread it right on top like your icing a cupcake and you're going to just do the same thing for each banana little piece so I'm just here I sing my little bananas and coating them up with some almond butter this is what they should look like when you're done and now we're just gonna pop it back into the freezer for about 30 minutes just to harden up the almond butter all the almond butters hurting up we're going to take our raw almonds and I'm just gonna use the extractor attachment for my nutribullet you can use a coffee blender or whatever you like and I'm just gonna put about a small handful of the raw almonds into the nutribullet and we're gonna pop the lid on and I'm just pulsing here you can see that I'm pulsing and then stopping pulsing and stopping I don't want to finely grind my almonds I want them a little bit chunky so next I'm going to take my dark chocolate and my coconut oil and I'm using a double boiler here you can just do this without a pot with some water.

I'm simmering and just a metal bowl on top and we're going to open up our chocolate here and you can use whatever chocolate you like I believe this one is 70% dark chocolate so it's just a better for you kind of chocolate luxe pant oxidants so I'm just gonna break it up here and it melts pretty quickly I had it on a low simmer and it melted to about five minutes so I mean the coconut oil just makes it extra creamy and great for dipping so now we're going to take our almond pieces I also added some shredded coconut last minute I just thought it might be a cool topping and I'm using some toothpicks here just to make it easier to kind of pull out the banana dipped chocolate pieces from the chocolate and place them back onto the parchment paper it's a little tricky but once you kind of do a couple it's quite easy I found it anyways and you just want to top it off with your shredded coconut or your pieces you can put goji berries whatever you like you can top your little banana ice cream bites with and with the magic of editing we're just going to speed it up and I'm going to quickly dip the rest of my banana bites in the dark chocolate alternating with my toppings putting the shredded coconut on and the crushed almonds so once you have all of your banana ice-cream bite coated with chocolate and topped with your favorite toppings you're just gonna pop it in the freezer again for at least two hours before eating that way they have that nice ice cream like texture in the middle and this is what your banana ice cream right should look like all ready and prepped to give to someone special on Valentine's Day thank you so much for watching guys have a fantastic day and I love you.
